First broadcast in 1968 Just a Minute has provided many thousands of minutes of entertainment over the years.

Loved and listened to around the world, it is one of the longest running radio comedy shows and is a national institution. It's also Radio 4's most devious panel game in which contenders battle it out to talk on a subject for sixty seconds whilst abiding by the Chairman's rules.

Attempting to talk non-stop for sixty seconds are regulars Paul Merton and Clement Freud, with special guests including Stephen Fry, LizaTarbuck, Pauline McLynn, Julian Clary and Graham Norton. Subjects hilariously tackled by the panellists include How to be irresistible to the opposite sex, Digital radio, The most eccentric person I know, Spectacles, Mushrooming, Greenwich Mean Time, The best thing about cats, Illusionists, American slang and My tactics for winning just a Minute.
