Antietam is the third in a series of novels spanning the Civil War and describing its effects on one southern family. Mac, another Brannon son and a gifted horseman, joins Jeb Stuarts cavalry and soon finds himself on one of the great adventures of the war.
James Reasoner, a veteran writer of historical fiction, is the author of several volumes in the Civil War Battle series as well as the Wagons West series. He lives near Azle, Texas.
Lloyd James hails from the Midwest. He received a B.A. in theater from a small liberal-arts college in New Mexico. He acts in the theater when his schedule permits and spends much of his free time working in his garden. He lives in Virginia with his wife and son.
